The Flagstick is
surrounded by a specially designed outer sleeve constructed of clear,
circular material, which in terms of rigidity behaves in the same as a
regulation flagstick when hit by a golf ball in play. The outer sleeve
is, in addition, UV and water resistant, and capable of withstanding
extremely strong winds.
The appropriate branding is placed on the outer sleeve, and is secured
to the golf flagstick itself.
The finished product complies with all R&A and USGA regulations with
regard to diameter, shape, rigidity, shock absorbency and length of a
golf flagstick and has been ruled as conforming to the Rules of Golf.
