University of North Carolina graduate,
four-year football
letterman and ACC All-Conference performer at linebacker, joined the Atlanta Falcons in 1980 and was named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. Became a team captain, spent eight years with the Falcons. Following his professional career on the field, Curry has spent the majority of his career in sports and related fields, helping provide children the opportunity to learn football skills as well as develop character while interacting with many of their favorite professional ball players. He enjoys coaching youth football and is an active event speaker.
