MIKE DULANEY

Mike Dulaney played football/track and field at Dobyns-Bennett HS which is located in Northeast Tennessee. Attended the University of North Carolina and played for Head Coach Mack Brown, now at the University of Texas. Upon graduating from UNC, attended training camp with the Cincinnati Bengals. Mike then played in the Arena Football League for the Albany, NY Firebirds for one season before coming to training camp with the Chicago Bears. Mike is a four-year NFL veteran, having spent three years with the Chicago Bears and one with the Carolina Panthers as a fullback/special team’s player. In 1996, he played in all 16 of the Bears’ games, tying for the team lead with 21 special teams tackles. He forced a fumble versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and recorded his first touchdown reception, a one-yard grab, versus the Detroit Lions. Mike was a nominee to the 1996 Pro Bowl as a special team’s player.
